Nepal-Monastary-1

For our final Saturday in Nepal, Ann Marie surprised us by organizing an overnight at Namo Buddha, a Bhuddist monastery in the mountains just outside the Kathmandu Valley. Namo Buddha is one of the most important religious sites in Nepal. Apparently, it was here where the Buddha gave his body to a starving mother tiger and her five children. After they ate his flesh, he was reborn as another form of the Buddha.
